Sorry, sorry, sorry

I've done it again and not blogged for a while. I think the problem is still Facebook - I don't really have to think with Facebook - I have to use my single brain cell to do this!!
Well the biggest thing that's happened really is that Dunc and I celebrated 10 years of happy marriage on Sept 6th!!!
We had a joint wedding anniversary with the Spencers and the Mercers at some random pub in London - it was a fantastic night - one place filled with people you love and care for!!
Then the following weekend Dunc and I, with no kids, nipped to Spain for the weekend - as you do. We just wanted to get away somewhere where we could just be the 2 of us - it was fantastic - 2 days just us 2 on a beach, doing nothing but chilling, reading, chatting and topping up the tan. It was fantastic.
Daisi has gone back to school - thankfully - and is still loving it. She is doing so well with her reading that they've moved her to a booster reading group - which I think means she does her reading with the year above!!!!!
We're off to Carlisle this weekend for Dunc to do the Harvest Meetings and Friday night we're at Derby, for a fundraiser!!!!
Busy busy busy

OH MY GOSH!!!! How long has it been???

OK so huge apologies to start with, for not blogging in over a month - I totally blame Facebook, which is a major major addiction.
Now I have to try and remember all the stuff that's happened in that time.

TMS - fantastic wee, so much better than the past few years and I honestly can't pinpoint why. I was chuffed to bits that the girls chorus sang a song that I wrote - yes little old me!!! Needless to say I blubbed through the rehearsals that we did it, but managed to hold it together for the 2 festivals - yes it was sung a both wed and sat night festival - something that doesn't happen very often. I fab week for me to recharge myself for another year.
Also, the girls Chorus at Northern Summer School sang my song too - thank you Julian.

Dunc's Grandma - sadly Grandma Brailsford passed away. She was the most lovely person I've known in a long time and my biggest regret ever ever ever is that I never got to say goodbye. Family time at the funeral was nice but also sad that it's only ever once in a blue moon that everyone gets together. Please pray for Dunc's family in particular Grandad Brailsford - they'd been married about 64 years - can you even try and imagine what that would be like to suddenly lose someone - I can't.

School hols - stress stress stress, partly cos Daisi just spends her days winding Max up!!! I think he's more than ready for her to go back to school (Tues 4th)

Camping - Bank Hols weekend we went camping in Horsham with the Luffs and the Motts - it's the first time in my whole life I've been camping without rain - I got a fab tan and people now think I've been abroad!!!

Dunc is currently in Zambia and hopefully will arrive back on Thursday morning - our 10th wedding anniversary!! I am dreading him getting stuck somewhere at some random airport - but lets pray that doesn't happen.

OK, I've now got brain ache - I'll try and keep up with my blog now - OK Johnny!!!
