Friday again

Well last Saturday was busy. We'd had Mia overnight as Janet has had a very very bad back. Nick and Lisa Hanover, and son Joshua, came over for brunch and to have a nosey at the new house. When they'd left, after a brief trip to the park, we went to the Luff's house for Joshua's 2nd birthday party. Very nice grub. And then the Condon family came round for coffee.
Sunday - Army, Dunc went collecting - I don't go out, I could all the money!!! Then he and Daisi sorted out the front garden while I ironed!!!! Very domestic!!!
Tuesday, Daisi came home from school saying she had kissed a boy called Fergal (!!) in the playground, he went very red in the face and now she's going to marry him. Daddy was not best pleased - he's told her she's not to date till she's 30!!!
Wednesday, I picked her up from school and she had a huge purple fat lip. She had tripped over in the playground, bless her - perhaps it was Fergal in anger, perhaps it was another boy!!!!! Anyway, I then had to take her to ballet, looking more like a kick boxer!!!!
Last night, as soon as Dunc got in from work, Daisi and I popped to Tesco. While we were out, Max started having a nibble in the kitchen - on a garlic clove!!!!! Which apparently he seemed to enjoy - what have I produced!!!
Tonight we are going out for Graeme Hodge Surprise 30th Birthday meal, tomorrow night we are at Bromley for an evening of prayer for Anti-Trafficking!
PRAYER - For Deb and Phil Condon again - just pray!!!!

Quick update

Well house is still fab as is living in lovely Reigate.
Daisi started school this week, exciting for her, petrifying for me - my little baby all growing up. Of course, Duncan took the obligatory hundreds of photos of her. She loved it. Packed lunch and everything. And yes I got teary both dropping her and picking her up. She got a bit teary when we got home cos some of the kids with money got milk and play time and she didn't. We found out the next day that all kids get milk but it hadn't been delivered that day. Bless her. That was Tuesday. Then on Wednesday straight after school she started ballet - I've never seen a child beam so much for 45 mins - she really was in her element. We took her a couple of years ago to ballet but she wouldn't leave our side. Since then she got a video a while back on 'how to be a ballet dancer' and it's always on. This lesson was just like the video and she enjoyed it big time. It was lovely to watch.
Dunc and I celebrated our 9th Wedding Anniversary on Wednesday, where has that time gone. We drove to Brighton in the evening and had a nice meal at 'Old Orleans' kinda Southern American food - very nice. Lovely to just walk around just me and him. I bought him some golf stuff and he bought me a lovely Willow Tree figurine - most girls know what that means and guys don't!!!!
Thursday morning me, my brother Lloyd, Helen and our children went to start attending a toddler group at a brand new, American looking, Baptist church, 2 streets from us - but it doesn't start till next week!!!!!
Last weekend was Ruben Luff's dedication so that was a nice nosh up at the Mott's.
This week Dunc has been off work and majorly attacked the garden, it's starting to shape up, bless him he must be shattered.
Anyway, wedding tomorrow, Adam Bonner and Gemma Evans. Big do at Sutton. I reckon it'll be one of those weddings where you know tonnes of different people - fab.
PRAYER - for Adam and Gemma as they start their new life together.

It's official - I'm a mother

Yes, it's finally happened - I spent an hour yesterday sewing the name labels into Daisi's new school uniform - very scary!!!! She starts next Tuesday and I'm the one that's petrified. She will be there from 8.50 to 3.10 - so it will be nice in one sense to have that time with Max, but I will miss her too.
House - feels like we've never been anywhere else, and thanks to Peter Mott, Helen's dad, we are properly moved in as he plumbed in my dishwasher!!!! Bliss - sad, but bliss. We love the area. Haven't done a run to the Army yet, but that will come on Sunday.
Bank Holiday Monday, we even sat and watched Darren play golf - very countryfied!!!!!!
Other than that life is fab. I have finished another song - inspired by TMS and Ruth and Lynsey, just gotta do the words - but girls, there will be a line in it aimed at you 2!!!!!!! Feel really good when I've finished a song (Says me who's only done 2) but I think I'm getting the hang of it now!!!! Just need a computer package and keyboard to print it out on - Johnny, any luck with Cakewalk????
PRAYERS - For Ruben Luff, it's his dedication on Sunday
